![]() Probably most of you don’t know how to set the System restore, which on my opinion is a good and necessary thing to know. It helps you when you do some mistakes in Windows, when you install a wrong program or you have been infected with a virus., etc. So the important thing about System restore is that it recovers your system to a past date when it was working correctly and it will change all the settings and installed data to the ones from that date. There must be a restore point so you can recover your Windows. This restore point saves all data and settings in that moment. To create a restore point you must follow these procedures: Start->All Programs->Accesorie->System Tools->System Restore Now you will see this http://img65.imageshack.us/img65/3287/poza15bzgi8.jpg . Next you change the settings following the instructions from the pictures and you press “Next”. Then you choose a description of the restore point and press “Create”. As you see in the picture http://img65.imageshack.us/img65/6132/poza28fxms4.jpg a restore point has been created. Now when you will have problems with your Windows follow these instructions: Start->All Programs->Accessories->System Tools->System Restore You will see a table like in the first picture and you select "Restore my computer to an earlier time”. Now you have to select a restore point(just click on a day from the calendar where is an activated restore point http://img54.imageshack.us/img54/5871/poza30ko.jpg . Now you press next until Windows starts to recover the information and settings from the respective date. It will take a few minutes and after this your Windows will be clean like a whistle! I hope it will help you because it helped me a lot! Good luck recovering your Windows!
