Media Player

Copy a screenshot from Windows Media Player on the clipboard [Ctrl]+[I] instead of [Alt]+[Print].

In order to select the majority of the entries of a folder, select the remaining entries and go to Edit->Invert Section

The start menu opens faster if his value „Menu ShowDelay” from „HKEY_CURRENT _USER\Control Panel\Desktop” is „0”.

To copy a file name in clipboard, press [F2], [Ctrl]+[C] and afterwards [Esc] after selecting the file.

Hold down [Shift] and use the mouse scroll to see the whole document. You can also use [Alt]+[left/right].

Notepad

Set the value DWORD „StatusBar” under „HKEY_CURRENT_ USER\Software\Microsoft\Notepad” to „1” to show the Status bar.
