Raise your notebook’s battery life!

On a notebook the best qualities are the processor and the backlighting. Also another important thing is the battery’s life. The 2 steps you must follow are:

• Reducing the brightness as much as posible
  Reducing the CPU Voltage with 30%

The easiest way to do this is using NHC(Notebook Hardware Control) that you can find on http://www.chip.ro .After the install go at „CPU Voltage”, click in the link near the question mark to find out the adequate values for your notebook. For example on a Pentium M740 Acer Travelmate 3220 you can reduce the voltage of the first core from 1.0V to 0.7V and from 1.3V to 1.004V on the second core. This way you reduce by 50% the consume of the Centrino processor.

Click on „Set” and it’s done! The battery of your notebook will last at least one hour longer!
