Entering Irc with TELNET



First of all enter CMD(Start->Run->cmd). Afterwards type „telnet” in cmd. Choose a mIRC server, for example eu.undernet.org , type in telnet open eu.undernet.org 6667 and you will see *** looking up your hostname... Now type user x y z :q(x is your nickname, y is the host name, z is your ip and q is your real name).
At host name you can also type your ip.
You will see something looking like: ping :--------- ( -----a number) and you will have to type pong :--------- (that number). Once connected you can connect to a channel join #channel and you can type on the channel privmsg #channel : xxxxxx (xxxxxx is the message). Also you can send private messages privmsg nick :xxxxx (xxxx-the message, nick–his nickname).
