Searching more efficiently in Google

In every search you find not only what you want to find. You also find junk and spams that have nothing to do with the word ore words you wanted to search for. But there is a solution:
When you search for a general term try using the „Director” option above the Search and choose the category where your term fits better. Also during the search Google shows you some useful links where you can find the term.
An alternative for Google is Ask(http://www.ask.com) which uses other algorithms. Also you can try on Seekport(http://www.seekport.com) which is dedicated to the europeans.
If you want to find only the useful text that you need you can use Google Toolbar. You have to activate the marker all the apearances of the word or words you have searched for will be marked on every page. If you click on the loupe you will se the next apearance of the word or words.
